December - Christmas Party
Hello Club Members -- the annual Oakley Delta Lions Club Xmas Party will be held on Friday,
Dec 7 (Pearl Harbor Day) at the Driftwood Yacht Club starting at 6pm with no host cocktails and the 7pm dinner.There will be a gift exchange, with the maximum cost of $20 per gift. More details upon arrival by Lion Buzz.
Come dressed in your favorite Xmas outfit. Please wear some clothes Lion Bruce besides sandals.
Below is the main course choice per club member. Lion Jack needs your reply by Friday, Nov 30 in order to get the information to Lion John Anthony and his staff to prepare the dinner. If you don't RSVP immediately, please put this info on your calendar so you don't forget to respond in a timely manner.

Oakley Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony
Saturday December 8th
We will be preparing hot dogs, hot chocolate, etc for serving between 6-8pm. The City Hall Opening Event will be from 4-6pm. We will be collecting used eye glasses and cans of food that night. A raffle may be held with the Chamber of Commerce per Mayor Kevin, who also said a Christmas tree will be purchased to be decorated. Dr Mike will be out there in the afternoon for back massages, adjustments, etc and the money earned will be donated towards the food drive.

Christmas Food Basket Drive is set for
Dec 19-20 at Gehringer School…Lion Denise said food boxing will begin at 2pm on 12/19 at her classroom and will be handed out to around 60 families on the 20th starting at 7am and finishing around 1pm.E-Mail Oakley-Delta Lions Club for more
